Vince Staples is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. His rise to fame included appearances on albums by Odd Future and his collaborative mixtape Stolen Youth with Mac Miller. He capitalized on the momentum from his collaborations, releasing his debut album Summertime ’06 in 2015 to widespread critical acclaim. His sophomore album, Big Fish Theory, received the same warm reception by fans and critics alike, proving that Vince Staples was a hip-hop powerhouse in his own right.
