Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a frontend hacker/designer to help us extend the best interface in ticketing. We're searching for someone who has created websites that strike a perfect balance between aesthetics and usability. Someone completely absorbed in creating web app frontends. We're looking for someone detail oriented who stresses over whether an element should be moved a few pixels. This job is a 50/50 split between coding and design work. We're looking for someone who's comfortable creating elements in Photoshop but is equally fluent in the frontend of the web stack.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead SeatGeek's UI design; other members of our team will help and support you, but ultimately you will be the go-to person
- Bring your vision to life by writing HTML/CSS/Javascript
Required skills & experience
- Deep experience creating web apps--we'll be most interested in seeing what you've made
- Mastery of Photoshop; experience with Illustrator is a plus
- Fluency in HTML and CSS; experience with Javascript is a plus
- You use OS X (technically not required, but we think it's a really strong signal)
- Highly detail-oriented
