“Fahrenheit Mobile Locker Room” in partnership with Aramark
NEW YORK, NY (April 21st, 2021) -- SeatGeek, the innovative ticketing platform, today announced the launch of Rally, a fully personalized event experience platform contained in the app, within the mobile ticket itself. Rally is modern ticketing at its finest, making tickets more than just a ticket by giving fans a constantly updating set of features in addition to their digital barcodes. Customizable by venue, fans can leverage Rally widgets to find driving directions to the stadium, order food directly from their seats, purchase merchandise, book a Lyft home and much more all within the SeatGeek app.
While Rally has been live as a Beta for the past year, the Cleveland Cavaliers, a SeatGeek partner, recently became the first team to leverage the full power of Rally, by launching fully integrated mobile food and beverage ordering. The “Fahrenheit Mobile Locker Room,” will allow Cavs fans to order food and drinks directly from their SeatGeek app and then pick up their order from a designated food locker in the arena, with zero contact from another person. This frictionless food and beverage experience will be overseen by Aramark, the Cavaliers exclusive food and beverage partner, and will feature a special menu from local celebrity chef, Rocco Whalen, and his flagship brand, Fahrenheit. Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will be the first NBA venue to deploy a heated locker program as a delivery mechanism for mobile ordering in venues. The pilot program will continue for the remainder of the Cavs and Monsters (AHL) season and for future concerts and events at the FieldHouse.
“The Fahrenheit Mobile Locker Room within SeatGeek Rally is an innovative and practical solution to mobile ordering,” said Mike Conley, Cavaliers and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse SVP & Chief Information Officer. “Fan adoption to mobile ordering in stadiums and arenas has historically been low primarily because of the need to download a separate mobile app. The integration with SeatGeek not only eliminates this barrier, but does so with a seamless and intuitive platform that fans will enjoy using just as much as they enjoy the delicious food they pick up from their heated locker. We’re excited to partner with SeatGeek and Aramark on this pilot program and look forward to its evolution into the future.”
“We’re excited to be working with the Cavaliers and SeatGeek to pilot this unique food and beverage experience. As fans’ expectations for safety have changed, Aramark continues to be on the forefront of introducing innovative offerings to improve the guest experience,” said Alison Birdwell, President and CEO of Aramark’s Sports & Entertainment Division. “By launching a fully integrated mobile food and beverage ordering platform, we’re able to provide fans with the food they love, delivered in a frictionless way.”
As venues and stadiums start to open back up, SeatGeek continues to take a progressive approach to ticketing with the goal of making the overall event experience more enjoyable for fans. As the leading innovator in ticketing technology, the company launched SeatGeek Adapt last year, which has helped teams and venues use tools like contactless entry, integrated covid surveys, and staggered entrance times to start welcoming fans back to their venues. This year, with the launch of SeatGeek Rally, SeatGeek wants to create a more informative and personalized event going experience as fans return to live events.
“Technology has moved so many industries forward, but when it comes to ticketing the legacy option is just to provide a barcode and the experience ends there,” said SeatGeek Co-Founder Russ D’Souza. “Rally is a win-win for fans and venues alike. Fans are going to love the convenience, customization and personalization of the features through the event, and rightholders have an opportunity to communicate directly to their fans and unlock more revenue streams throughout an event’s life cycle”.
Rally is fully customizable down to the specific fan level, allowing each event to have a different experience with the appropriate widgets. For example, fans attending a golf tournament may find a course map embedded right into the app, while the most loyal NFL season ticket holders may have the ability to win unique, one-of-a-kind on field experiences.
Some of the key features that Rally can include are:
- Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering: fans can skip the line with SeatGeek’s state-of-the-art venue integration with VenueNext and order food and drinks directly through their mobile ticket.
- Gameday Gear: fans can order team merch directly from Rally.
- Parking Passes: fans can use SeatGeek’s parking pass widget to guarantee a prime tailgate location.
- Gameday Directions: SeatGeek Rally will show fans how to get to the event by plane, train or automobile, and recommend the best mode of transportation to get them there on time.
- Victory Rides: Fans can use SeatGeek to book a Lyft home from the nearest gate.
- Weather Predictions: Rally’s weather forecast widget dynamically updates fans to keep them up to date on the weather up until after your event starts.
