Events in San Francisco Details

The Bay Area certainly doesn’t lack in professional sports teams, as there are two MLB teams, two NFL teams, an NBA team, an NHL team and an MLS team. The only team that actually plays inside the city limit of San Francisco is the Giants, who hold their home games at AT&T Park. Across the Bay in Oakland is the Warriors, Athletics and Raiders, who play in a complex that includes the Oakland Coliseum and Oracle Arena. South of Oakland and San Francisco is San Jose, where the Sharks play at SAP Center, and the Earthquakes play at Avaya Stadium. The 49ers play in nearby Levi’s Stadium, which recently hosted a Super Bowl. While many of the major musical acts that visit the city play at these larger venues, the Fox Theater in Oakland and the Bill Graham Civic Center in the middle of the city also host big shows.
