The Miami Marlins are a Major League Baseball team based in Miami, Florida. The Marlins' history traces back to 1993 when the MLB franchise was established as an expansion team. While the Marlins don’t have the most storied history, the team has a dedicated fan base and has won the World Series on more than one occasion.

The Marlins have called LoanDepot Park their home ballpark since 2012. LoanDepot Park is located near downtown Miami and features beautiful views of the Miami skyline. The ballpark has its own retractable roof, making it an ideal place to catch a game, even on a hot Florida day! 

LoanDepot Park is known for its Home Run Sculpture, which lights up when the Marlins hit a home run. The sculpture was once located behind the center field wall but was moved to the outdoor area in 2018. The sculpture represents the Miami Marlins and their epic runs on the field. 

Getting to the park is relatively simple, as you can drive, utilize public transportation or take ride shares. If you choose to park, we recommend buying parking early to avoid delays on game day. Regardless of your choice, arriving early is smart to avoid long lines and get to know the park.

Have questions about LoanDepot Park’s bag policy? The stadium upholds a strict clear bag policy. Bags must be plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 16”x16”x8”. If you do not want to bring a clear bag, you can bring a clutch or wallet that is non-clear and 6”x8” or smaller. The only exceptions are medical and diaper bags. 

Once you’re in the park, LoanDepot Park has various options for all Marlins fans to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a full-course meal or a $3.00 snack, LoanDepot Park has something for everyone. Some fan favorites include Top Dog, Miami’s Best Pizza, Biscayne Bay Brew Hall, Pincho and the Hot Corner.
