Communications Intern
We’re looking for a driven undergrad to work with SeatGeek’s Content and Communications teams. We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn and contribute, excited about the world of technology, and interested in joining one of New York’s fastest-growing startups.

The ideal candidate is a scrappy self-starter and comfortable working on multiple projects across a variety of marketing functions. As part of the marketing team, the candidate will gain exposure to all of SeatGeek’s marketing efforts, but will focus on content, communications, and PR.

What You'll Do

  • Write compelling and interesting content to be shared on the SeatGeek site and blog
  • Manage content across key pages on SeatGeek’s site
  • Build pitch lists of relevant media contacts
  • Write press releases and craft messaging to convey SeatGeek updates
  • Monitor media landscape for opportunities to extend the SeatGeek brand
  • Analyze SeatGeek ticketing data to create interesting stories published internally or pitched to media
  • Develop ideas for interactive infographics and other visual elements to engage SeatGeek users

What You Have

  • Current college Interested in marketing and tech companies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Energetic, driven, and eager to learn
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Past internship experience a plus
  • Superb writing and communication skills - previous writing experience (e.g., blogging, student newspaper) is a plus
