Partnerships Strategy Manager
SeatGeek has doubled our SeatGeek Enterprise clients over the past few months. Now, we want you to help our Partner Marketing team successfully scale at the same rate.

We are building our brand by partnering with leagues and teams (like MLS, Seattle Sounders, New Orleans Saints & Pelicans) that share our vision of helping more people enjoy more live events. Our job is to work hand-in-hand with these SeatGeek Enterprise partners to speak the language of their fans and drive SeatGeek adoption.

What You'll Do

As a Sponsorship Account Manager you’ll be integral in building our Big 4 sponsorships strategy from the ground up. You’ll own and lead our newest relationships, driving success for these partners and helping SeatGeek achieve our growth goals along the way. You’ll help inform best practices across our full Partner Marketing team, and report out the quantifiable impact our partnerships are having across the full SeatGeek business.

  • Own all aspects of our first Big 4 relationships, touching every piece of making them a success, from strategic asset decisions, to day-to-day execution, and return analysis
  • Ensure a successful SeatGeek Enterprise user launch for our new partners, liaising between the broader SG Marketing, Client Services, BD and Product teams
  • Play a key role in building out Sponsorships Measurement 2.0, which tracks the direct response sales impact and brand growth impact of our partnerships
  • Serve as an integral addition to the Partner Marketing team at large, helping us scale from 5 to 10+ partnerships in a short period time, balancing the priorities of SG Enterprise and the SG Core business
  • Assist with other non-sponsorship SeatGeek brand marketing initiatives to help grow the SG brand, and your own marketing toolkit

What You Have

You have a growth mindset that you’d like to apply to the sports industry in a new and unique way. The balance of performance metrics-driven marketing and the long-term impact of brand growth is exciting to you, and you’re up to the challenge of navigating a world of abstract sports sponsorship assets to achieve both types of goals. An ownership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit define your working approach. But most of all, you are a team player that is excited to build a Big 4 sponsorships platform from the ground up. You also likely have these more tangible items:

  • Undergraduate degree with an ideal major in business or marketing
  • 2-3 years in a client-facing or marketing role, i.e. consulting, marketing analyst, advertising, project management
  • Experience in sports a plus, but not required
  • An extreme attention to detail
  • Deep comfort with business tools, including deck preparation (powerpoint / Google slides), metrics analysis (Excel / Google sheets), contracts, and budgets
  • Strong ability to triage to-do lists based on business impact
  • A self-starter with an “ownership” mentality, but a contributor to a team dynamic
