Take in the great views and fresh air at the Juice Box

There’s nothing like a classic baseball game in Texas at Minute Maid Park or, as 68% of fans say they call it, the "Juice Box." Before you go, be sure to check if the game will have an open or closed roof - 75% of Astros fans say it’s best to go to an open-roof game if weather permits because there’s nothing like fresh air and a chance to take in great views of downtown Houston. There’s not a bad seat in the house, but if you want to splurge, the Crawford Boxes are well worth it.

"Even if you’re sitting near the top, you will have great seats and a great view!"

Deep in the Heart of Texas

There are several baseball teams that have their own signature songs, and for the Houston Astros, this song is fittingly "Deep in the Heart of Texas." During the 7th inning stretch, after fans sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," stay standing and sing along - don’t forget to clap (clap, clap, clap)!

"Learn the words to sing "Deep in the Heart of Texas" during the 7th inning stretch."

BBQ, burgers and baseball

Of course, any baseball game isn’t complete without the food, and at Minute Maid Park there are some great options. Fan favorites include Torchy’s Tacos and Shake Shack. Fans also recommend trying out the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and for a more classic baseball snack, you can’t go wrong with a hot dog.

"Don’t eat before you come, the food is good at the stadium and not too expensive."
