Two local food staples
Many MLB ballparks claim to have the best garlic fries, but with the garlic capital of the world right down the road, the Giants get to take home this title. Many fans voted Gilroy Garlic Fries the must-try snack, noting that the perfect followup desert is a Ghirardelli Sundae. Of course, those looking to save a little money can bring their own snacks into the game too.
"You must try the mound of garlic fries - if you eat one, you eat the entire order, plus no vampires."
When the Lights Go Down
Visitors to Oracle Park may want to touch up on their knowledge of Journey’s discography, as the band’s San Francisco roots make it a popular sing-along. Of course the megahit Don't Stop Believin' will make an appearance, but most fans surveyed actually look forward to when the team plays the lesser-known song Lights, and everyone sings about how "the sun shines on the bay."
"Make time to take a lap around the stadium because there are so many cool things and beautiful views."
Watch out above
With Oracle Park butting up against the Bay, there is no shortage of seagulls at the ballpark, all with the uncanny ability to tell when a game is winding down and leftover snacks are unguarded. Many fans surveyed noted that avoiding the birds is impossible, but sitting underneath an overhang, or in a more crowded section, are two tricks to help prevent a stolen hotdog.
"I can honestly say that I've sat just about everywhere and had the best time each time."
