Consumer Insights Manager
Live event ticketing is a complicated and emotionally-charged industry. SeatGeek is a challenger brand, trying to usher in a new, more fan-focused paradigm while contending with strong market forces and some large and entrenched – albeit not particularly well-loved – incumbents.

As our first Consumer Insights Manager, you’ll help SeatGeek learn how best to walk the line between (a) competing (and winning) on the industry’s status quo terms and (b) embodying a differentiated point of view that resonates with fans and with the future of the industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Design & execute new quantitative and qualitative research studies (surveys, focus groups, interviews, etc.)
  • Own & streamline the tracking & reporting of important recurring KPIs (awareness, CSAT, NPS, etc.)
  • Be the primary point of contact for research agency and SaaS partners, as needed
  • Organize & analyze qualitative feedback from various inbound sources (e.g. comments from app stores, social media, review sites, etc.)
  • Make SeatGeek a well-oiled research machine, with centralized systems and software that enables low latency of insights and agile repetition
  • Answer behavioral and psychographic questions about live event goers and how we can influence them to become and remain active SeatGeek customers
  • Partner with our consumer and enterprise marketing teams, our CX team, and our product and engineering teams to identify & address cross-functional needs
  • Synthesize all of the above and distill your findings into practical, actionable strategy recommendations for the business
  • Effectively publicize your findings & recommendations to execs and all other relevant internal people/team
