Born and raised in Texas, country music star Cody Johnson began his career as a wholesome project with his father. Cody Johnson’s voice has a deep southern tone that embodies an authentic country sound. The duo started playing music together in 2006 and released an album, Black and White Label. Within a few years, his father left the band, and Cody Johnson went on to release his first professionally produced album, Six Strings One Dream, in 2009.
