We’re looking for a driven undergrad to work with SeatGeek’s marketing team. We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn and contribute, excited about the world of technology, and interested in joining one of New York’s fastest-growing startups.

The ideal candidate is a scrappy self-starter and comfortable working on multiple projects across a variety of marketing functions. As part of the marketing team, the intern will gain exposure to all of SeatGeek’s marketing efforts, but will focus primarily on supporting growth marketing channels such as Facebook & Snapchat ads, paid search and retargeting.

What You'll Do

  • Help us strategize, launch and analyze campaigns across paid marketing channels: retargeting, paid search, Facebook ads, etc.
  • Work with the design team, managing campaigns, assess performance and any other ad hoc projects/analysis
  • Help to scale existing and developing new search marketing strategies and bidding while maintaining high, demonstrable ROI
  • Learn to create and implement A/B tests to improve ad copy and search traffic conversion
  • Use web analytics and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics and Looker to better understand our customers and exploit those insights in marketing campaigns
  • Help to improve our campaign strategy for specific events, artists, and sports teams

What You Have

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with spreadsheets
  • Strong ability to self-prioritize / triage to-do lists based on business impact
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and search marketing
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • An interest in marketing strategy and a keen eye for good design

Perks

  • A laid-back, fun workplace designed to facilitate collaboration and company wide events
  • $120/mo to spend on live events tickets
  • A focus on transparency. We have regular team lunches and Q&A panels where employees can chat openly with teams across SeatGeek, our co-founders, and external guests from the industry
  • Annual subscriptions to Citibike, Spotify, and meditation services
