Get out of your seat

PetCo Park is the perfect stadium for those that don’t enjoy staying in their seats for the whole nine innings. Located down the leftfield line, the Western Metal Supply Building is a walk-through history experience that offers a view of the field. Or if you're looking to stretch your legs a little more, head over to the Park at the Park, located beyond center field. Fans called out the Park as the best place to hang out prior to an evening game.

"Please walk all around the stadium because there's so much to see and experience."

Picking the right game

As a city with a massive armed forces population, military appreciation nights are extra special at this San Diego stadium. A number of fans also called out the days when the Padres wear their throwback jerseys. No matter which game you attend, most fans recommended taking the trolley to avoid the hassle of parking.

"There's nothing more San Diego than a burrito from Lucha Libre, a local beer, and a warm summer night."

Craft beers and BBQ

Many fans called out the incredible selection of craft beers at PetCo Park, with the favorites being Ballast Point and Alesmith .394, the latter a tribute to Tony Gwynn. On the food side, local burger joint Hodad’s and the famous Phil’s BBQ were top choices, with fans recommending the pulled pork sandwich and tri-tip nachos. And of course if it's Tuesday, fans should celebrate Taco Tuesday at Lucha Libre.

"GO HUNGRY! The food is world class, absolutely the best restaurants I’ve ever seen in a ballpark."
