Race fans, the Indianapolis 500 events start in just one day, and fans are getting ready to return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 106th running of this spectacular event.

Indianapolis 500 Drivers

Scott Dixon currently sits as the projected favorite for the third consecutive year, after finishing first in qualifying. Following Dixon is Alex Palou, Pato O’Ward, and Rinus Veekay. In total, there will be 33 racers in this event. A notable name that fans may notice, especially Nascar fans, is Jimmie Johnson. This is his first time in the Indy 500 race.

Indianapolis 500 2022 Dates & Location 

The Indianapolis 500 event begins May 27th, and runs through May 30th. The main race itself will take place on May 29th. The gates will open at 6:00 AM, with the race getting underway at 12:45 PM.
