Season tickets are the ultimate way for fans to enjoy as much live football as possible throughout the NFL season, as they guarantee entry to at least eight regular season games and two preseason matchups.

Before we get into our guide on how to buy season tickets for the Vikings, we thought we’d do a quick rundown of the benefits of having season tickets.
Season tickets are a flat fee per game, so you won’t have to pay extra money for games that have increased importance or higher demand.
Season ticket holders are given the first right of refusal for playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
The league offers a few perks of its own to season ticket holders, including free access to NFL RedZone, a discount at the NFL’s online shop, and access to the league’s Ticket Exchange.
The Vikings offer several different benefits to their season ticket holders, including a discount to the team’s store, pre-sale opportunities for Draft Parties, Training Camp practices, season ticket holder events, and on-field contests and promotions.
As it currently stands, the Vikings have sold out all their season tickets for the foreseeable future. The team has implemented a waiting list for season ticket hopefuls, where fans can secure a spot in line for season tickets as they become available.The team has not released any information about the number of names currently on the waiting list, but the average wait for season tickets is usually at least one year.
If you are interested in joining the Vikings season ticket waiting list, you may do so online here. To join the waiting list, you must make a $100 non-refundable deposit for each seat, which will go towards the cost of season tickets once you’ve been selected. You may put down a deposit for up to six seats.
According to Statista, the Minnesota Vikings rank near the league average in average ticket price, as their average ticket price came to $103.98 for the 2019 campaign. The league average ticket price for this year was $102.35, so a Vikings ticket was less than two dollars above the average NFL ticket.
For the 2019 season, the cheapest Vikings season ticket was $620 per seat for a handful of sections in the upper deck, and the most expensive seat was $1,740 for the lower-level sections abutting the 20-yard line. On top of the cost of season tickets, there’s another expense for prospective season ticket buyers, which is called a Stadium Builders License or SBL – also known as a Personal Seat License. This means that every season ticket holder is required to make a one-time payment per seat to secure the right to buy season tickets.
SBLs for the Vikings range from $500 for the cheapest seats in the upper deck to $3,700 for the seats closest to the 50-yard line in the lower level. Although they require a significant upfront cost, one of the benefits of SBLs is that you can choose to sell the rights to your seat at any time through the Vikings Marketplace.
If you aren’t interested in waiting for Vikings season tickets, you can also purchase an SBL off of a current season ticket holder. The Vikings Marketplace has 285 active listings, starting at $1,200 per seat. One thing worth mentioning is that if you purchase an SBL off a current ticket holder, you still must pay for the cost of the tickets on top of your SBL purchase.
