Office Coordinator
SeatGeek is growing quickly. We’ve hired over 100 people so far this year and just opened a new NYC headquarters that increased our space by 2.5 times. While exciting, this means our Office Ops team needs to grow and scale, too.

We’re looking for an Office Coordinator to sit at our front desk and show our guests a great welcome experience while providing outstanding administrative support to the SeatGeek team. If you are enthusiastic about joining a fast paced tech company, passionate about growing your career within a broader People Ops function, and inspired to help curate a workplace that is a true destination, then read on.

What You'll Do

  • Greet guests, clients and interviewees, smiling and making them feel at home
  • Ensure cleanliness and professionalism of reception and lobby area, and continually look for ways to improve our front-of-house procedures
  • Serve as a point of contact for visiting remote employees and event guests
  • Receive and notify employees of incoming mail and packages, and assist with outgoing shipments
  • Provide scheduling and general administrative support to various team leaders
  • Manage company calendars and meeting room schedules and proactively identify and solve for potential scheduling conflicts
  • Manage TripActions travel platform, owning and solving any user issues
  • Provide scheduling and general administrative support to various team leaders
  • Assist with office ops purchasing, facilities management, and events, as well as other team initiatives
  • Support internal team meetings with catering orders and room setups

Who You Are

  • Ambitious, bright and intellectually curious. You love teaching yourself new things and you’re naturally driven to be the best at what you do
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented. For you, things like misuse of “your” vs “you’re” and unfiltered inboxes are the stuff of nightmares
  • Friendly and professional. You take pride in your ability to cultivate a fun and inviting office atmosphere, and a willingness to engage with guests to make them feel welcome
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a particular emphasis on succinctness and clarity
  • Skilled with Google Docs and a familiarity or willingness to learn other project management systems
  • The holder of a bachelor's degree and an active interest in startups and new technologies with 0-2 years of work experience

  • A competitive base salary and equity stake in a well-funded growth stage company
  • A laid-back, fun workplace designed to facilitate collaboration and company wide events
  • $120/mo to spend on live events tickets
  • A superb benefits package that supports health/dental/vision
  • A focus on transparency. We have regular team lunches and Q&A panels where employees can chat openly with teams across SeatGeek, our co-founders, and external guests from the industry
  • Annual subscriptions to Citibike, Spotify, and meditation services
