Recoupments Manager
We’re partnering with more teams than ever before, including our first NBA & NFL teams, which means we’ll be selling and supporting more transactions, too.

Now, we’re looking for an analyst to help us manage refund claims with external partners big and small. On a day-to-day basis you will be working closely with multiple teams internally, and looking for process improvements through policy change and automation. You’ll help us scale our business, develop metrics, and improve upon those metrics to impact SeatGeek’s revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and manage the recoupment submission process with brokers and external markets
  • Meticulously track and investigate claims from refunds to customers
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure these data points against other financial metrics that are regularly reported to senior leadership
  • Assist in negotiations, mediation, and arbitration with markets and partners on disputed orders
  • Communicate strategies for improvement and long-term outlook for net refunds (including buybacks, replacement tickets, etc)
  • Work cross-functionally with Inventory, CX, and Finance to execute new protocols, workstreams, and initiatives related to refunds and recoupments

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. Additional qualifications include:

  • 3-4 years experience in operational role at high growth company
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong sense of judgement in ambiguous situations
  • Previous experience with recoupments processing and net refunds strategy
  • Previous management experience is a plus
