Senior Manager, Information Security
As our Sr. Manager, Information Security, you’ll have responsibility for designing, building, and evolving the security architecture and operations functions for a growing, global portfolio of technologies in a modern, progressive, cloud-based environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the SG global information security engineering & operations functions. Your role will be part hands on technology management, part team management, and part process management
  • Have responsibility for the overall security architecture, from perimeter defense systems down securing the center (and everything in the middle!) - extensive experience with AWS security is a must
  • Use your layered security architecture mindset to leverage threat management technologies to their full extent
  • Oversee our 24x7 information security operations, with the support of outsourced NOC/SOC functions providing around-the-clock help
  • Provide relevant and up-to-date management information based on agreed upon KPIs
  • Design and manage security systems that reflect state-of-the-art security practices and compliance, ensuring a focus on balancing effectiveness without introducing material operational friction
  • Be an escalation point during information security incidents and see issues through to resolution while ensuring appropriate involvement across teams
  • Actively participate in planning and strategy discussions and help define the service delivery roadmap
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a posture of security technology modernity with all systems under our global IT portfolio, related to the protection of all systems under management, including Linux and Windows systems on a range of x64 and AWS VMI services

What You Have

  • 7+ years of experience in information security with progressive responsibilities and at least 3 years of people management experience
  • Extensive experience building and managing modern, progressive security architectures within AWS
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams
  • Experience managing OS-level security-standard automation leveraging, ideally with HashiCorp products
  • ITIL V3 & DevOps experience along with experience with compliance frameworks (SOC I and II, SOC, ISO 27001)
  • CISSP certification a plus
