SeatGeek hires Managing Director for EMEA Entertainment, SeatGeek Enterprise

Charlie Sefi joins the team to lead and grow the entertainment business of SeatGeek Enterprise internationally

LONDON, UK (May 28, 2019) -- SeatGeek, the leading mobile-focused ticket platform, announced today the hiring of Charlie Sefi as Managing Director for EMEA Entertainment for SeatGeek Enterprise. In this role, Charlie will manage, lead and grow SeatGeek’s primary ticketing business to reach live entertainment fans globally. Based out of SeatGeek’s London office, Charlie will direct the sales, implementation and support teams across SeatGeek Enterprise’s UK and European entertainment clients.

Charlie joins SeatGeek with extensive experience in scaling tech startups internationally. He comes from Resy, where he was GM International until its recently announced acquisition by American Express. In this role, he was the first international employee and took on the task of growing the business in Europe and Australia. In just two years he built a team of 20 and a presence in five countries outside the US. Prior to Resy, he led Ticketscript as the Managing Director for the UK and Ireland until its acquisition by Eventbrite. Charlie was also a founding director of the award-winning YPlan app, where he built and led the entire sales, operations and content teams.
