Prep for the Orioles Traditions

Orioles fans love their National Anthem traditions and the 7th inning stretch. During the National Anthem, towards the end on the "Oh say, does that star spangled banner...." the crowd always cheers "O" out of sync with the anthem - so be ready to shout! And during the 7th inning stretch, fans sing "Thank God I’m a Country Boy" by John Denver - learn the words before heading to the game and you can join in!

"My favorite tradition is the "O" during the national anthem. Also, the playing of Thank God I'm A Country Boy by John Denver after the 7th inning stretch!"

Eat Boogs!

Fans say that you should know and try all the great food options if you can. If you have to choose just one, it’s gotta be Boogs BBQ! Fans also recommend the pickles, crab fries, pretzels and dip. When you get thirsty, fans are torn between Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy and Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Can’t go wrong with either! If you’re looking to save some money, bring your own food - half of Orioles fans have taken advantage of the ‘BYOF’ policy!

"Boog's Barbeque is delicious and he often greets fans himself."

Make time for Eutaw Street

Make sure to leave time to soak in the atmosphere on Eutaw Street, and look out for the home run markers on the street. Eutaw Street is a great way to get prepped for the game - there are great bars and restaurants around. There are also little plaques around that mark where all the homers have landed - try to see how many you can find.

"The closer you get to the stadium the more the experience comes alive."
