Show up hungry

Progressive Field is known for its great food, and no matter what you choose, you won’t be disappointed. For your ice cream fix, head to Sweet Moses (located behind the outfield). For something cheesy, make sure to grab nachos at the Barrio. If you’re in the mood for BBQ, look no further than Throwing Smoke BBQ, and make sure to order the "Heater" brisket sandwich when you’re there! With this many options to choose from - including many added just this year - you definitely won’t go hungry.

"The best food is on the lower level, it has all of the local restaurant stands. Grab food when you first enter the ballpark before you get to your seats, especially before heading up top!"

Know before you go: the mustard rivalry is real

While many fans say that a hot dog at Progressive Field is a must, beware of the mustard rivalry - you’ll have to pick a side: Stadium mustard vs. Bertman’s mustard. For all you spice fans, opt for the Stadium Mustard, which is supposed to have more of a kick. For those who like their mustard on the sweeter side, reach for Bertman’s. And whatever you do, make your allegiances known!

"[My favorite tradition is] the hot dog race and how everyone in Cleveland has a favorite dog: ketchup, onion, or mustard (obvs. the best)."

Don’t miss the Hot Dog Derby

A fan-favorite tradition at Progressive Field is the Hot Dog Derby, otherwise referred to as the Condiment race. The classic feuding hot dogs are aptly named Ketchup, Mustard, Onion. Recently, the stadium introduced a new Hot Dog - fans, meet Bacon! The race takes place at the end of the fifth inning of every home game, so make sure you stick around. Go for the baseball, stay for the racing hot dogs!

"Come hungry. There is a great selection of local restaurants represented on the concourse, featuring great food and craft beers."
