Petco Park Events

Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, opened in 2004 and is located in downtown San Diego. The ballpark replaced Qualcomm Stadium as the home of the Padres.

Over the course of its brief history, Petco Park has hosted some big concerts such as Madonna, Avicii and Deadmau5. The venue’s first ever concert was The Rolling Stones on November 11, 2005.

Petco Park was also the host of the semi-finals and finals of the 2006 World Baseball Classic as well as second round games during the 2009 edition.

You haven’t seen Petco Park until you’ve gone behind-the-scenes on one of our guided tours. Discover “writer’s row” in the press box, learn about the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building and explore the Padres dugout. The crown jewel of downtown San Diego, Petco Park serves up baseball Southern California style-complete with swaying palm trees and a sandy beach beyond center field.

Join us for a walk in the sun. Individuals, families or groups smaller than 25 can join our walk-up tours offered seven days a week.
