    SeatGeek Lifer! 🙌🏽

Seat Geek is surprisingly really good. I’ve used a few of the other ticket apps and they are expensive and charge pretty high fees. The app is super easy to use and works well at the ticket line getting in places. I haven’t had any troubles at all and I’ve been to 10 events using seat geek with my girlfriend. Big Fan!!

Great tickets at good prices - easy to use app!

Great selection of resale tickets (better than with other apps!). App is easy to use. Pricing states that it includes fees but there is an additional fee upon check-out, similar to other apps.

    Best Ticketing App

There’s a lot of them out there, but the deal score meter always gets you best bang for buck. My favorite service to buy tickets for sure.

About Chevy Metal Tickets

Chevy Metal began around 2002 as a laid-back cover band formed by Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and his longtime drum tech and bassist Wiley Hodgden. The duo started by jamming ’70s rock classics in small dive bars and bowling alley lounges around L.A.—secret side-project style meets rock‑n‑roll boot camp—refining their onstage chemistry and playing beloved deep cuts by bands like Thin Lizzy, Queen, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. Guitarist Brent Woods, a protégé of Randy Rhoads, joined later, pushing the band from intimate gigs to bigger festival stages and arena moments where they’d occasionally bring out guest legends like Dave Grohl, Mick Jagger, Joan Jett and Chad Smith.

Following Taylor Hawkins’ sudden passing in 2022, Chevy Metal briefly paused—until his son, Shane Hawkins, stepped in as drummer, ready to carry the torch. This revival was celebrated during early tributes, including performances at the Wembley and Forum memorial events, and echoed through festival appearances like BottleRock Napa Valley. The new lineup—Shane on drums, Wiley on bass and Brent on guitar—continues the high-decibel, passionate spirit of those original bar-room rock sessions, delivering sweaty renditions of ’70s and ’80s classics with its own twist.

In summer 2025, Chevy Metal announced a full U.S. headlining tour—kicking off July 12 in Menlo Park, winding through Denver, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and wrapping up September 5 in Las Vegas. These shows feature the band’s signature approach: reinterpreting iconic tunes—overdriving tempos, extended jams, impromptu solos—and local opening acts adding to the night’s energy. Fans can expect surprise guest appearances (past shows have included Gene Simmons and Chad Smith), drum solos, and a real feel of community and homage, keeping both the music and Taylor Hawkins’ legacy vibrantly alive.
