About Daughtry
Daughtry, the American rock band fronted by Chris Daughtry, was formed in 2006 following Chris's fourth-place finish on the fifth season of American Idol. Shortly after his exit from the show, Chris assembled a band and released their self-titled debut album in November 2006. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became the fastest-selling rock debut in Nielsen SoundScan history, selling over one million copies within five weeks of release.
