I tested positive for Covid one day before I was scheduled to see a show I had been looking forward to for a long time. I called support and at 10 pm on a Monday they were able to transfer my tickets to the same seats the following month, to a date of my choosing. The band achieved mainstream success with their 1993 breakthrough album, Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid, which featured the hit single “Shine.” The song became a defining anthem of 90s alternative rock and helped the album go multi-platinum. Following this, Collective Soul released a string of commercially successful albums, including Collective Soul (1995), Disciplined Breakdown (1997), and Dosage (1999).
