Internal IT Audit Manager
As our Internal IT Audit Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the IT controls environment is well designed and operating as intended. This will include the development and management of controls that are compatible with SOC II, SOX, and ISO 27001 standards.

We’re a technology forward, progressive, and fast paced technology shop. We view security and controls as the great enablers - not an impediment to progress. It’s important that our Internal IT Audit Manager share this vision and have a passion for protecting systems without undue rigidity.

What You'll Do

  • Lead internal IT audits, including site general IT controls, corporate networks, and security audits. You’ll also manage the process through annual SOC I and SOC II, and ISO 27001 audits
  • Identify and evaluate business and technology risks while working cross-functionally with other leaders to improve the internal control environment at SeatGeek
  • Manage pre-and post-implementation audits of significant system implementations
  • Provide a consistent approach to defining audit scope, priorities, risk assessment, execution and testing
  • Align architecture diagrams and process flows to overall project plans to identify and remediate gaps, review existing system architecture and propose changes, and assess functional specification documents

Who You Are

  • A hands-on technical auditor - you’ve had responsibility for both internal and third party IT audits previously
  • Collaborative and supportive - you’ll build strong internal relationships to serve as a source of knowledge for IT controls and compliance
  • A strong project manager
  • You have a good understanding of business processes and the technology framework used throughout the organization
  • You have a thorough understanding of IT control frameworks (e.g., SOC II TSP, ISO 27001, and COBIT). You also understand IT risks, threats, and mitigation methods

What You Have

  • Extensive hands on experience with security and operations frameworks and how they’re applied in a technical operating environment
  • BA/BS Degree in business administration, computer science, accounting or information technology
  • 5+ years of IT Audit or IT Security experience with 2+ years in an IT Audit function
  • Experience with GDPR, SOC I and SOC II
  • Technical experience with Amazon AWS based infrastructures and experience auditing heavily cloud centric service environments
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and audit narratives
  • Preferred: Sarbanes-Oxley, multi-national, public company IT auditing experience; CISA certification

  • A competitive base salary and equity stake in a well-funded growth stage company
  • A laid-back, fun workplace designed to facilitate collaboration and company wide events
  • $120/mo to spend on live events tickets
  • A superb benefits package that supports health/dental/vision
  • A focus on transparency. We have regular team lunches and Q&A panels where employees can chat openly with teams across SeatGeek, our co-founders, and external guests from the industry
  • Annual subscriptions to Citibike, Spotify, and meditation services
