Senses Fail is an American post-hardcore band formed in New Jersey in 2002. The group was founded by vocalist Buddy Nielsen, guitarist Garrett Zablocki, guitarist Dave Miller, bassist Mike Glita and drummer Dan Trapp. Emerging from the early-2000s New Jersey hardcore and emo scene, they quickly gained attention with their debut EP, From the Depths of Dreams (2002), which showcased emotionally raw lyrics, dynamic guitar work, and a blend of post-hardcore and emo influences. Their first full-length album, Let It Enfold You (2004), became a critical and commercial success, cementing their reputation in the early-2000s post-hardcore scene.
