Alejandro Sanz is a Spanish singer-songwriter and musician from Madrid, known for his fusion of pop, flamenco and Latin rock influences, and for writing his own songs. Over his career, he has become one of Spain’s most internationally recognized artists. He began playing guitar from a young age and entered the music scene professionally in his teens. His breakthrough came with the album Más (1997) which turned him into a major star in Spain and later across Latin America.

Alejandro Sanz's latest full release is the EP ¿Y Ahora Qué?, released in 2025. One of the standout tracks is his collaboration with Shakira titled “Bésame,” released on 23 May 2025. The album marks a new chapter for him—recorded between Spain and the U.S., under a new label arrangement, embracing vulnerability, collaboration and creative renewal.
