Its traditional rivals include Cal, Washington and Stanford, but USC really gets the Bruins’ blood boiling. The schools are located approximately 12 miles apart, and used to share the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as a home stadium. The Bruins and Trojans first met in 1929, and have played for the Victory Bell annually since 1937. The matchup is now held at the Rose Bowl in even-numbered years, when UCLA’s student section – known as “The Den” – promises to be entertaining.
