Named one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media” in 2017 and 2018, comedian Trevor Noah is a known for his well-timed humor and spot-on political satire. Born in South Africa, the momentum of Noah’s stand-up comedy career led him to become the Senior International Correspondent for The Daily Show in 2014. He was a rousing success, eventually taking over as the host when Jon Stewart retired. The show has continued to receive high ratings since Trevor Noah took over, and in 2018, Time magazine named him as one of the “100 most influential people in the world.”

Trevor Noah has also appeared in film and television, including a 2017 appearance on Nashville. Perhaps most notably, Noah made a cameo appearance on the box office smash Black Panther. In 2016, Trevor Noah released Born a Crime, which received critical acclaim by major book reviewers and reached #1 on The New York Times Bestseller List. The book also reached the top of several other booklists, and a film adaptation is in the works. Like his stand-up routines and his Daily Show monologues, Trevor Noah’s writing is witty and bold. In 2017 he earned two NAACP Image Awards for Born a Crime: one for Outstanding Literary Work-Autobiography, and one for Outstanding Literary Work-Debut Author. Another book is already in the works, with fans already eagerly awaiting the final product.
