The American folk band, CAAMP, was formed between childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall and was later joined by Matt Vinson and Joseph Kavalec. CAAMP released their self-titled debut album in 2016 and began to upload their music to the streaming platform Spotify. The song ‘Ohio’ and ‘All the Debts I Owe’ went viral, with the latter earning over ten million streams. In 2019 CAAMP debuted their album By and By, which hit No. 1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and secured the band a spot on the Billboard Emerging Artist Chart. CAAMP is known for their relatable and honest lyrics joined together by melodic tales from the banjo.
