Written by Bruce Norris, in response to Lorraine Hansberry's famous play A Raisin in the Sun, Cybourne Park was written in 2010. Exploring the theme of gentrification in our communities, actors portray both fictional events as well as real life events to depict racial issues and aspirations for a better life. The play premiered in New York in 2010 at Playwrights Horizons, and later moved to the Royal Court Theatre in London. Directed by Dominic Cooke, starred Tony Award winner Frank Wood, Emmy nominee Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos, Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton and Christina Kirk. Theater goers worldwide seek Clybourne Park tickets to see this new, twisted play live in action.
