After this app was pushed and shoved to my face by every influencer and public figure I finally budged! And I regret not doing so sooner! Thank you TRISHA PAYTAS! This really is the best app to shop concerts and events! I’ve gone to 5 different concerts this year all thanks to seat geek! My first ever concert was Tyler, the Creators Chromakopia world tour in Philly. SeatGeek made not only finding amazing suite seats super easy but made finding parking easy too! At 14, he taught himself to play guitar and was influenced by artists like John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, and Gregory Alan Isakov. Initially involved in musical theater, McPoland shifted his focus to songwriting and performing. His breakthrough came in 2021 when an acoustic version of his song "Romeo and Juliet" went viral on TikTok, leading to a record deal with Columbia Records. He followed this success with singles such as "Shit Show," "Eloise," and "i can't sleep," which showcased his introspective and emotionally resonant songwriting.
In 2022, McPoland released his debut EP, Slow Down, which included tracks like "Dead Air," "News at 9," and "String Lights." The EP received critical acclaim for its blend of indie rock and folk influences. He also served as the opening act for Twenty One Pilots during their Icy Tour.
