The luck, the looks and the talent are words you would use to describe the rise of Rita Sahatciu Ora thus far.
The British singer, songwriter and actress was 'discovered' by none other than music industry heavyweight Jay-Z. Soon enough her debut album, "Ora," shot to the top of the charts in the UK, spawning the number one hits "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)."
It's safe to say you're doing something right with an artist like Jay-Z and a couple number one songs on your resume, but Ora definitely didn't stop there. She was at the top as a featured act on DJ Fresh's "Hot Right Now" list, the artist with the most number one songs on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, and was nominated for three awards at the 2013 BRIT Awards.
Ora's run continued when the first single from her second album, "I Will Never Let You Down," debuted atop the UK singles chart in 2014, marking her fourth UK number one. Fans are now anxiously awaiting the rest of that album, which will reportedly feature production from Diplo and DJ Mustard, as well as a collaboration with Prince. In the meantime, fans can hear Ora on Iggy Azalea's single "Black Widow," which became Ora's first top 10 song on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in August.
Ora will be the fourth coach on the upcoming four series of "The Voice UK," replacing Kylie Minogue. She will join other coaches Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson in mentoring the contestants.
