It’s officially time to prepare for Ed Sheeran’s North American tour. The +-= ÷x Tour, pronounced as the Mathematics tour, began earlier this year in Europe. After a long anticipated wait, the North American leg will start on May 6, 2023, in Arlington, Texas, and make its way through the states before ending in Inglewood, California, on September 23, totaling 21 dates.
Over the last decade, Ed Sheeran has released a series of albums and tours titled after mathematical operations: plus (+), multiply (x), divide (÷) and equals (=). The 2023 Mathematics tour draws inspiration from each album, primarily focusing on his newest album, = (equals).
Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics tour follows his successful 2018 divide (÷) tour, which became one of the highest-grossing concert tours to date. With the divide (÷) tour being nearly five years ago, it’s no wonder fans have been so eager for the iconic star’s return.
The Ed Sheeran tour will begin in the South on May 6th in Arlington, Texas and weave through the U.S. before making its way to the Northeast and Midwest.
The Mathematics tour will come to an end on the West coast, with the last few stops including Seattle, Vancouver, Las Vegas and Santa Clara before closing things down in Inglewood on September 23, 2023.
