I am so happy with SeatGeek! It is a much friendlier user interface than StubHub. I had some really bad experiences with StubHub lately. Their customer service is horrible. However has been nothing but exceptional and the selection and service is incredible.Oct 2

About Alabama Shakes
Alabama Shakes formed in Athens, Alabama, in 2009, when vocalist and guitarist Brittany Howard teamed up with bassist Zac Cockrell, guitarist Heath Fogg, and drummer Steve Johnson. The band began by playing local shows and small Southern venues, drawing attention for Howard’s raw, soulful voice and their powerful blend of rock, blues, and Southern soul. Their early performances built a strong grassroots following, fueled by an energy that felt both classic and completely modern.
Their breakout came with the release of their debut album Boys & Girls in 2012, which quickly earned critical acclaim and commercial success. Songs like “Hold On” became defining anthems, landing the band Grammy nominations and major festival slots. The album’s success established Alabama Shakes as one of the most exciting new American rock bands of the decade, praised for their authenticity and emotional depth.
In 2015, the band reached new heights with their sophomore album Sound & Color, a bold and experimental record that showcased their artistic growth. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and earned multiple Grammy Awards, including Best Alternative Music Album. After years of touring and acclaim, the band entered a period of hiatus while members pursued individual projects, but their influence remains strong—Alabama Shakes are widely remembered for redefining modern Southern rock and creating music that feels timeless, fearless, and deeply human.
