My wife and I used Seat Geek for the first time last year we bought tickets for both nights of the Metallica concert in May in Nashville and we are outside of Chicago so it was a vacation we had to save for we bought the cheapest tickets and the day of because of production issues they moved us 5 rows from the floor great seats and they made it really right. John Oliver is a British-American comedian, writer, and television host, best known for his role as the host of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Born on April 23, 1977, in Erdington, England, Oliver began his career in the UK, making his first on-screen appearance at the age of six in the BBC drama Bleak House. He later performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and worked on various British television and radio programs, including The State We're In and The Department. In 2006, Oliver moved to the United States, where he joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent and occasional fill-in host, gaining recognition for his sharp political satire.
In 2014, Oliver launched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO, a weekly late-night talk show that offers in-depth commentary on current events and issues. The show has been praised for its investigative journalism and has won multiple awards, including over 20 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards.
