Nate Bargatze is a stand-up comedian from Old Hickory, Tennessee, known for his clean humor, laid-back delivery, and sharp storytelling style. He began his comedy career in the early 2000s after moving to Chicago to study improvisation at The Second City. From there, he honed his stand-up skills by performing in New York City clubs, slowly building a reputation for his ability to make everyday situations hilarious without relying on profanity or shock value. His Southern charm and observational wit quickly set him apart in a competitive comedy scene.

Bargatze’s career took off after he gained recognition on late-night television, with appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. His connection with Fallon proved especially pivotal, as he later joined Fallon’s Clean Cut Comedy Tour. His Netflix special, The Tennessee Kid (2019), solidified him as a mainstream comedy voice, followed by The Greatest Average American (2021), which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album.

In recent years, Bargatze has continued to rise in prominence, touring theaters and arenas across the country. His 2023 Amazon Prime special, Hello, World, was filmed in his home state and showcased his signature observational humor about family life, technology, and everyday absurdities. He also became a frequent guest on major podcasts and even hosted Saturday Night Live in 2023, marking a significant milestone in his career.
