Benefits of Season Tickets

Before we get into our guide on how to buy season tickets for the Eagles, we thought it would be beneficial to do a quick rundown of the benefits of having season tickets.

Price Stability

Season tickets are a flat fee per game, so you won’t have to pay extra money for games that have increased importance or higher demand

Access to Playoff Tickets

Season ticket holders are given the first right of refusal for playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public

NFL Perks

The league offers a few perks of its own to season ticket holders, including free access to NFL RedZone, a discount at the NFL’s online shop and access to the league’s Ticket Exchange

How to Purchase Eagles Season Tickets

There are two ways to purchase Eagles season tickets: by joining the team’s season ticket waiting list or by purchasing a Stadium Builder’s License from a current Eagles season ticket holder.

The first method that we’ll highlight is the season ticket waiting list, which is the best method for Eagles fans who don’t mind waiting or who aren’t interested in paying the high prices associated with private Stadium Builder’s License sales. In order to get season tickets through this method, all you have to do is sign up for the team’s season ticket waiting list, which can be done easily online via this link.

One thing worth mentioning about the Eagles season ticket waitlist is that it currently has over 86,000 names on it, making it the third-highest waiting list in the National Football League behind the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers. While there’s no current estimate on how long it will take to get through 86,000 names, it may take up to 30 years for your name to get called.

If waiting patiently for three decades isn’t something you’re interested in doing, you have another method at your disposal – purchasing a Stadium Builder’s License from a current ticket holder. Stadium Builder’s Licenses, which are also called Personal Seat Licenses by other teams, are a one-time payment that fans make to secure the right to buy season tickets. The Eagles used SBL’s to help finance the construction costs for Lincoln Financial Field, which opened back in 2003.

Once an SBL has been purchased, fans are allowed to transfer or sell their tickets as they wish, and by buying an SBL directly from a ticket holder you can skip the waiting list altogether.

If you’re interested in purchasing an SBL, you can do so through the Eagles SBL Marketplace. There are currently 204 active listings on the marketplace, with the least expensive listings going for about $6,000 per seat. One thing worth mentioning is you still must pay for the cost of your season tickets when purchasing an SBL, as Stadium Builders Licenses do not include the actual cost of season tickets.

Season Ticket Pricing Information

The Philadelphia Eagles have been a bit secretive regarding their season ticket costs, as they don’t regularly post that information online for consumers to see.

However, Bleeding Green Nation published an article before the 2019 campaign which featured season ticket costs for several different sections for Lincoln Financial Field. Lower level sections ranged from $1,250 per game for seats in the end-zones to $1,850 per game for seats on the 30-yard line behind the Eagles bench.
