About Alter Bridge
Alter Bridge Tickets - Building Bridges One Brick at a Time
In music, you see it every day -- bands break up, new bands form. Those bands break up, and even newer bands form after that. This was the case for the likes of Alter Bridge, a group of musicians that already came from previous rock bands. Born in 2004, you had the former members of Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti and drummer Scott Phillips hitting it with bass guitarist Brian Marshall and former Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy. It was in August of that same year that Alter Bridge debuted with their first album, One Day Remains. When they switched to the Universal imprint Republic, the second album in 2007 debuted, entitled Blackbird, and also a third was released entitled AB III in 2010.Alter Bridge Tickets - Go and Cross the Bridge
What made this band so defining in the age was the sense that they were bringing back that hard rock/heavy metal sound that was so eclipsed by the post-grunge era of the Nirvanas and Extremes of the charts. They hit it home in a big way, and no one can deny that many were crossing bridges and entering new worlds with the sound of the Alter Bridge ringing in their ears and filling up their explosive hearts with some of the heaviest sounds in the early 2000s rock scene.Alter Bridge Discography
