About Black Label Society Tickets

Formed in 1998 in Los Angeles by guitarist-vocalist Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society emerged as a raw and gritty heavy metal outfit built from the ashes of Wylde’s previous solo and side-projects. Prior to BLS, Wylde had gained fame as the longtime guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and led the southern-rock-inflected band Pride & Glory. Wanting a new direction, Wylde teamed up with drummer Phil Ondich and guitarist Nick Catanese to record what would become the debut album Sonic Brew. Recognizing the project wasn’t just a solo outlet but a full band, the name Black Label Society was adopted, capturing a tougher aesthetic with biker club influences and the motto SDMF (“Strength, Determination, Merciless, Forever”).

Over the years, Black Label Society has compiled a string of career highlights that reflect both their musical evolution and enduring presence in heavy metal. Early albums like Stronger Than Death (2000) and 1919 Eternal (2002) solidified their reputation for crushing riffs, melodic solos, and Wylde’s signature pinch-harmonics. The 2010 album Order of the Blackdebuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking a commercial peak for the band. Later releases such as Grimmest Hits (2018) and Doom Crew Inc. (2021) demonstrated continued creativity, with the latter receiving acclaim for the standout single “Set You Free,” which was named one of the best metal songs of 2021.

Beyond the albums, Black Label Society has built a reputation for relentless touring and live intensity—Wylde and his crew transform their shows into thick-toned metal rituals with loyal fans often forming local “chapters” akin to biker clubs. The band’s stylistic blend of southern swagger, heavy groove, and virtuosic guitar work has earned them a distinct niche. Their ability to pivot between pure aggression and surprisingly soulful hard rock (as seen in ballads like “In This River”) has kept their sound both recognizable and versatile. Over decades, BLS has not only upheld Wylde’s guitar legacy but also carved its own path as a heavyweight in modern metal.

In support of the new album, Black Label Society will embark on a major 2026 North American tour.

Black Label Society's 2026 tour will run from February 27, 2026 through May 14, 2026.

On their 2026 tour, Black Label Society will visit major cities including San Antonio, Nashville, Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and more.

Zakk Sabbath—Wylde’s Black Sabbath tribute band—will serve as the primary support act for Black Label Society's 2026 tour, while Dark Chapel, the project led by BLS guitarist Dario Lorina, will open each night.

Black Label Society is an American heavy metal band founded in 1998 by guitarist and vocalist Zakk Wylde. Known for their blend of crushing riffs, blues-infused heaviness, and Wylde’s signature guitar style, the band has become a defining force in modern metal. Over the years, BLS has built a devoted following—often referred to as “Berserkers”—through relentless touring, powerful live shows, and a catalog defined by both aggressive anthems and emotional ballads. Their identity is rooted in intensity, musicianship, and a biker-club-inspired aesthetic that sets them apart in the hard-rock and metal landscape.

Black Label Society's latest full studio album is Doom Crew Inc., released in 2021, though they have recently begun rolling out new music ahead of their next major project. In the lead-up to their upcoming 2026 album, Black Label Society has released several singles, including “The Gallows,” “Lord Humungus,” and “Broken and Blind,” signaling a return to the thick, melodic heaviness fans expect. Their next studio album, which will be their twelfth, is scheduled for release in early 2026 and is shaping up to be one of their most anticipated records in years.
