This multiple Tony Award winning musical biography, now legendary musical, has been capturing theatre fans’ hearts with its vibrant cast and modern-day rap/hip hop/jazz/blues music since its off-Broadway premiere in February 2015 and shortly after debuted on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in August 2015.
Hamilton is the inspirational story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who went on to become an integral part of George Washington’s presidency, becoming America’s first Treasury Secretary and a key figure in the Revolutionary War. The musical is two acts and tells the story of Hamilton’s extraordinary life as told through historical events in which he interacts with famous figures like Aaron Burr, Marquis De Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson, and of course the first President of the United States, George Washington. With book and lyrics by the broadway superstar Lin Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is sure to give you an incomparable theater experience that you’ll be talking (and singing) about for years to come.
Kansas City, Missouri has never hosted Hamilton before its first three-week run in Summer 2019.

In 2000, the Princeton Architectural Digest acclaimed it as one of the 500 most important architectural works in the United States. Don’t miss the iconic piece of history inside — a 1927 Robert-Morton pipe organ. It hosts traveling Broadway shows, ballet and opera productions, symphony orchestras, and other events.
Hamilton has received numerous accolades and awards, among them eleven Tony Awards including Best Musical, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Its original off-Broadway performances earned the musical eight Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical.
