About Kilby Block Party Tickets
Kilby Block Party is Salt Lake City’s leading indie music festival, known for bringing together alternative rock, indie pop, punk, folk, electronic and experimental artists in a destination-style weekend built around discovery and community. The festival got started in 2019 as a celebration of Kilby Court, the beloved all-ages Salt Lake City venue that helped shape Utah’s independent music scene. What began as a true neighborhood block party has grown into one of the most talked-about indie festivals in North America while keeping its identity tied to emerging artists, intimate music culture and the spirit of Kilby Court.
Kilby Block Party’s rise has been defined by steady expansion, increasingly ambitious lineups and a reputation for booking artists that appeal to serious indie fans. Early editions helped the festival move beyond its original block party footprint, eventually growing into a multi-day event at the Utah State Fairpark. Career highlights for Kilby Block Party include becoming Salt Lake City’s largest indie music festival, drawing national attention for its carefully curated lineups and turning a local venue anniversary into a major annual destination event. The 2026 edition continues that momentum with a three-day lineup at the Utah State Fairpark from May 15 through May 17, headlined by Turnstile, The xx and Lorde. With additional performances from Hayley Williams, Modest Mouse, Alex G, Blood Orange, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, Japanese Breakfast, Magdalena Bay, The Last Dinner Party, Beach Bunny, American Football, Snail Mail and many more, Kilby Block Party 2026 stands out as one of the year’s essential indie festival weekends.
