Lamp is a Japanese indie pop trio formed in 2000 by Taiyō Someya (guitar/keys), Yusuke Nagai (vocals/multi-instrumentalist) and Kaori Sakakibara (vocals/flute/keys). Originating in Tokyo, their sound melds Shibuya-kei, jazz pop, city pop, bossa nova, dream pop and indie pop influences, drawing inspiration from Brazilian music, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Simon & Garfunkel.

Lamp's most recent studio album is Dusk to Dawn (Japanese title 一夜のペーソス), released in October 2023. The 20-track project, largely produced by Someya, marks a lyrical and musical evolution for the band.

LaMP have announced the addition of seven fall dates to their 2025 tour itinerary, marking the trio’s first West Coast run. The new shows, running from Oct. 9-18, fall between a previously announced series of East Coast shows and a double-header in Denver.
