    Terrific

I like that you can do installment payments with affirm. Wish you can choose your seating like ticket master. I use both but this here helps with the larger bill to spread out and pay off overtime.

About New Edition Tickets

New Edition is an American R&B group that formed in the late 1970s in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Childhood friends Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, and Ralph Tresvant began performing together as teenagers, influenced by The Jackson 5 and local talent shows. The group’s big break came in 1983 when they released their debut album Candy Girl, featuring the title track that became an instant hit with its catchy pop-R&B sound. Their youthful energy and smooth harmonies helped pave the way for what would become the “boy band” phenomenon of the 1980s and 1990s.

Following the success of Candy Girl, New Edition evolved into a more mature R&B act with albums like New Edition(1984) and All for Love (1985), delivering hits such as “Cool It Now,” “Mr. Telephone Man,” and “Count Me Out.” After Bobby Brown left the group in 1985 to pursue a solo career, he was replaced by Johnny Gill in 1987, marking a new era for the band. Their 1988 album Heart Break was a critical and commercial success, showcasing a more grown-up sound with standout singles like “If It Isn’t Love,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” and “You’re Not My Kind of Girl.” The album solidified New Edition as one of R&B’s most sophisticated and enduring groups.

Over the decades, New Edition’s members found success both individually and collectively. Bobby Brown achieved superstardom as a solo artist, while Bell, Bivins, and DeVoe formed the hit-making trio Bell Biv DeVoe, known for their 1990 classic Poison. Despite lineup changes and hiatuses, New Edition has continued to reunite for tours and special projects, including their celebrated 2017 BET biopic The New Edition Story and subsequent “Legacy Tour.” Their lasting influence on R&B, pop, and hip-hop is undeniable — inspiring groups like Boyz II Men, NSYNC, and New Kids on the Block, who credit them as trailblazers of modern male vocal groups.

Who are New Edition?

New Edition formed in Boston in 1978, originally as a teenage vocal group inspired by acts like The Jackson 5. The classic lineup includes members such as Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe. Over the years they evolved from youthful pop-R&B into a more mature new jack swing sound. They have been credited with helping pave the way for modern boy bands and male R&B ensembles.

What is New Edition's latest album?

New Edition's last studio album is One Love, released in 2004. Prior to that they had the more widely celebrated album Home Again (1996) and the classic Heart Break (1988) among others. Since then, while the group has reunited several times and done tours and special events, no new full studio album has been released (as of the last public information).

What are New Edition's most popular songs?

New Edition’s catalog spans over four decades, and their most popular songs reflect their evolution from teenage pop sensations to mature R&B icons. Their breakout single “Candy Girl” (1983) introduced them to the world with its infectious, bubblegum groove — often compared to The Jackson 5’s early hits. It topped the R&B charts and became a defining track of the early ‘80s. The follow-up singles “Cool It Now” and “Mr. Telephone Man” further cemented their fame, showcasing their smooth harmonies and youthful charm.

As the group matured, their sound evolved into sophisticated R&B and New Jack Swing. The 1988 album Heart Breakproduced some of their most enduring hits, including “If It Isn’t Love,” “Can You Stand the Rain,” and “You’re Not My Kind of Girl.” These songs captured emotional depth and showcased Ralph Tresvant’s distinctive vocals and the group’s dynamic choreography — setting a new standard for R&B performance groups.

Later hits like “Hit Me Off” and “I’m Still in Love with You” from their 1996 comeback album Home Again proved that New Edition could successfully reinvent themselves while staying true to their roots. Beyond group hits, members achieved solo success — Bobby Brown with “My Prerogative,” Bell Biv DeVoe with “Poison,” and Ralph Tresvant with “Sensitivity.” Together and apart, New Edition’s songs remain staples of R&B history, celebrated for their timeless melodies, flawless harmonies, and lasting influence on artists from Boyz II Men to Usher.

Has New Edition won any awards?

New Edition has earned numerous awards and honors over their decades-long career, recognizing their trailblazing influence on R&B, pop, and the modern boy band movement. While their early success in the 1980s was driven by chart-topping singles and sold-out tours rather than major award show dominance, their long-term impact has since been widely celebrated.

The group received a Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012, honoring their contributions to music and culture. That same year, they were also recognized at the BET Awards, where they performed a career-spanning medley that highlighted their enduring popularity. In 2017, following the success of The New Edition Story miniseries, BET presented them with the Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging their influence on generations of R&B and pop performers.

Beyond these major honors, New Edition’s albums and singles have earned multiple American Music Award nominations, Billboard Music Awards, and NAACP Image Awards over the years. Individually, members of the group have also achieved accolades — for instance, Bobby Brown’s solo success in the late 1980s brought him American Music Awards and Grammy recognition. Collectively and individually, New Edition’s awards highlight their remarkable journey from Boston teenagers to R&B legends whose sound continues to inspire artists today.
