SeatGeek will become the Club’s official ticketing platform, providing back-office and fan-centric innovation
NEW YORK, NY and KANSAS CITY, KS – SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform transforming the live-event experience for fans, teams, and venues, today announced a multi-year partnership with Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). With this partnership, SeatGeek will become the official ticketing platform for those looking to attend KC Current matches. The Kansas City Current marks the fourth NWSL team to partner with SeatGeek.

Starting with the 2022 season, fans will use the SeatGeek mobile app to directly scan into KC Current matches. Supporters can also use SeatGeek’s Rally technology to get weather updates, book a ride to the match, and enter the stadium contact-free. SeatGeek will also power Kansas City Current’s back-office technology, giving the club seamless integrated access to fans and a view of demand.
The KC Current played its first NWSL season in 2021 and recently announced their plans to build the first NWSL purpose-built stadium. They will be joining SeatGeek’s partnership roster alongside Portland Thorns FC, Houston Dash, and Racing Louisville FC, as well as seven Major League Soccer clubs and half of the English Premier League’s clubs including Liverpool F.C. and Manchester City F.C.

Founded in December 2020, the Kansas City Current is led by the ownership group of Angie Long, Chris Long and Brittany Matthews.
