The Mars Volta Tickets

Yes, The Mars Volta have announced a 2026 U.S. tour kicking off in September, marking their first shows of the year. The run includes stops in Ventura, El Paso, Charlotte, Charleston, Orlando and Jacksonville, among others. The band has described the setlist as career-spanning, drawing from their full catalog of 20-plus years. Check back for the latest schedule updates as more details emerge.

The Mars Volta's 2026 tour has been billed as a career-spanning set, meaning fans can expect deep cuts and fan favorites pulled from across their entire discography. Based on their Fall 2025 setlists, songs like Reina tormenta, Enlazan las tinieblas, Celaje, Un disparo al vacío and Morgana were in rotation, alongside material from their classic albums. Whether you're a longtime devotee or coming in fresh off their newer material, the set promises a broad look at what makes The Mars Volta one of the most adventurous live bands around.

The Mars Volta announced a new record titled Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos Del Vacio ahead of their recent touring activity, and the band has also been spotted in the studio working on additional material. Videos circulating from their Fall 2025 shows confirmed they debuted songs from a currently unannounced album live before any official release. Their 2026 dates are expected to pull from both this newer material and their deep back catalog.

The Mars Volta blend progressive rock and experimental rock with elements of hardcore, psychedelic rock and free jazz, creating a sound that is genuinely unlike anything else in modern rock. Founded by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López after the dissolution of At the Drive-In, the band built their reputation on sprawling, conceptually dense albums and ferocious live performances. Expect extended instrumental passages, Bixler-Zavala's acrobatic vocals and a stage presence that rewards fans willing to surrender to the chaos.

The Mars Volta's 2026 U.S. schedule includes an appearance at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 20, making it one of the notable festival slots in their current run. The rest of their announced 2026 dates are headline club and theater shows across the country. Keep an eye on updates as additional festival bookings for later in 2026 have not been ruled out.

One of The Mars Volta's 2026 U.S. dates is a support slot for My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade 2026 run, specifically the September 12 show at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The rest of their announced 2026 dates are standalone headline performances at clubs and theaters, where The Mars Volta top the bill.

The Mars Volta reformed in 2022 after a nearly decade-long hiatus following their 2012 breakup, which was widely attributed to growing creative tensions between core members. Since reuniting, they have released new music including the album Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos Del Vacio, toured extensively across the U.S. with a major fall 2025 run, and announced their 2026 return to the road. The reunion has been met with significant enthusiasm from fans who waited years for the band to come back.
