He began posting home-recorded demos while still young, and his authentic, sparse sound and prairie ethos helped him stand out in the Americana/country world.

Colter Wall's latest studio album is titled Memories and Empties, released on November 14, 2025. The record was co-produced by Wall and his longtime collaborator Patrick Lyons and recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville. The album is described as a “collection of drinking songs and blue collar stories” with a nod to classic 1970s era country music.
