Erykah Badu Tickets

Erykah Badu (born Erica Abi Wright on February 26, 1971) is an American singer-songwriter, producer and actress from Dallas. Dubbed the “Queen of Neo-Soul,” she burst onto the scene with her debut album Baduizm (1997), which spawned hits like “On & On” and earned her multiple Grammy Awards.

Yes. Erykah Badu just announced her fall 2026 "LIVE" tour, which kicks off September 10 in Highland Park, Illinois and runs through late September. The tour features producer The Alchemist and pioneering rap group De La Soul, with Smino joining on select dates. Additional special guests are also expected to be announced.

Erykah Badu's 2026 "LIVE" tour is co-headlined by producer The Alchemist and features pioneering rap group De La Soul across the full run. Smino will also appear as a supporting act on select West Coast dates, including San Diego, Berkeley, and Los Angeles. Additional special guests are expected to be announced as the tour approaches.

In March 2025, Erykah Badu announced her first full-length studio album in 15 years — Abi & Alan — a collaboration produced entirely by The Alchemist. The first single, "Next to You," dropped June 20, showcasing her signature neo-soul blended with The Alchemist's Mobb Deep-influenced hip-hop sound.

Yes. Erykah Badu is a four-time Grammy winner, taking home awards for hits like "On & On" and "Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)." In February 2025, she won her fifth Grammy alongside Rapsody for Best Melodic Rap Performance on "3:AM."

The 2026 "LIVE" tour marks a distinct creative moment for Erykah Badu, pairing her with producer The Alchemist as a co-headlining act — a reflection of their ongoing musical collaboration on the Abi & Alan album. Unlike her 2025 Mama's Gun anniversary tour, which focused on revisiting a classic record, the "LIVE" tour is oriented around new material and a hip-hop-meets-neo-soul aesthetic shaped by that partnership. The addition of De La Soul and Smino on select dates further sets this run apart as an event-driven, genre-spanning experience.

Based on her recent setlists, the 2026 "LIVE" tour is expected to feature a mix of neo-soul classics and newer material. Fans can anticipate songs like "On & On," "Bag Lady," "Tyrone," "Next Lifetime," "Window Seat," "Didn't Cha Know," and "Appletree," alongside tracks from her Abi & Alan collaboration with The Alchemist, including "Next to You" and "Witch Docter." Setlists tend to vary from night to night, and Erykah Badu is known for spontaneous covers and improvised moments.

An Erykah Badu concert is widely regarded as a ceremonial experience rather than a standard pop show. Stages are typically bathed in warm amber and indigo lighting with incense setting the atmosphere, while her live band creates elastic, improvised grooves that stretch familiar songs into new territory. The 2026 "LIVE" tour adds the dynamic of The Alchemist's production style and De La Soul's hip-hop energy, making this run feel like a genre-crossing event. Erykah Badu is known for starting late and running long, so plan accordingly — once she takes the stage, the experience tends to be well worth the wait.
