Encore! SeatGeek Named to Inc. Magazine’s Annual List of Best Workplaces for the Second Consecutive Year

From the never-ending supply of snacks and kombucha to the human-centric perks and benefits, employees reveal why SeatGeek remains a ‘best’ workplace

SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform transforming the live event experience for fans, teams and venues, today announced its inclusion in Inc. magazine’s Best Workplaces list. This year’s placement marks SeatGeek’s second, having been named a ‘Best Workplace’ in 2022. Inc.’s annual list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or a virtual facility.

SeatGeek’s employees voted the company a ‘best’ workplace due to the company’s continued efforts in putting culture first – creating not only a great place to work, but a place where teams’ work sparks passion. From the company’s flexible return-to-office approach that allows employees to choose the workplace setting that helps them best succeed, to its diverse set of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and affiliated programming, SeatGeek has established itself as an environment where everyone belongs and can maximize their potential.

Here’s one employee’s testimonial (taken directly from the Quantum Workplace survey described below):

“At a time when the tech industry is a bit chaotic, SeatGeek has remained focused, people-centric, and goal-oriented. Everyone I work with is so kind and helpful, I've never received a "no" answer when asking for help. Also, SeatGeek clearly values diversity – the people at this company value having women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community as coworkers. There are great ERGs and Slack channels, a high level of transparency from leadership, and a high level of flexibility that acknowledges that we're humans first and employees second. Coworkers are smart, hardworking, kind, and respectful – it's truly a great group of people marching towards the mission of improving the outdated live entertainment industry!”

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 591 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

“At SeatGeek, our employees are our biggest unfair advantage,” said Taylor Lamme, Chief People Officer at SeatGeek. “That’s why we value transparency and encourage employee feedback across every role, team, and location. By creating a culture of trust and collaboration, SeatGeek has become a place where employees join for the excitement of a new role and stay for the opportunity to have an outsized impact – with plenty of fun sprinkled in, too. We're always striving to improve in areas that matter most to our employees, and we’re excited to continue building a team of exceptional people as diverse and unique as the events we ticket.”

SeatGeek was recognized throughout 2022 and early into 2023 for its efforts in cultivating a workplace environment that encourages employees to leave a lasting impact on our culture and, as a result, drive company success through hard work, passion, and innovation. The company was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, Front Office Sports’ Best Employer in Sports, Built In’s Best Hybrid Places to Work, and Andreessen Horowitz's Marketplace 100.
